Hotel Suvidha Palace  has been born as a small child under The Aekta Coop. House Building Society Ltd; Una (cooperative society registered with Govt. of Himachal Pradesh). Department of Tourism, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh has issued a Certificate of Hotel in the year 1998, to run the hotel under the name and style of Hotel Suvidha Palace, Una in the year of 1998.

Sh. M.K.Bassi, Ex Mining Engineer and Advocate, was the founder president of the said society. The idea of opening thr hotel was his dream. Thus all the members of the society associated with him to fulfill this dream. Thus with the financial help of The Kangra Central Coop. Bank Ltd; H.O. Dharamshala, this dream has been fulfilled. And a wonderful hotel came into existence.

Smt. Nirmal Bassi, medical practitioner, also, joined in the society and helped it to grow more and she had taken all the women members in the society. Thus, it became the first hotel in Himachal Pradesh, where all the members are women in hotel industry, in the society. And Smt. Nirmal Bassi, became the first women president of the society and the hotel won laurels under her stewardship. This hotel also became the first member in the district Una to get prestigious membership from The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India, New Delhi.
Smt.Preeti Vaid, Master of Business Administration, became the first women CEO cum General Manager of the hotel. The hotel has achieved great success under her control. Number of rooms were also increased. She got business from District Cricket Association, Una and also got business from banking sector. Lot of marriages were also conducted in our hotel. Our hotel also served sumptuous lunch to foreigners particularly from
TAIWAN, when they go for paying obesiances and getting blessings from His Highness Holy Dalai Lama in Mcleodjgang in Dharamshala.

The reigns of the hotel were handed over to Sh. Sachin Bassi, who was CEO cum General Manager of the hotel. He is professionally qualified and passed out from the prestigious institute of Govt. of India, i.e. Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, New Delhi. He with the help of his wife, Smt. Deepika Vashisht, M Com & M.Phil, run the hotel by keeping all managers in all fields.All accounts have been made computerised and all billing system in the hotel became computerasied.Thus, by adding these hi tech facilities, the hotel has touched new heights. This hotel is also having two seven seator vehicles for the guests.

The society has made an experiment to increase the profitability of the society by giving some part of the hotel business to Mrs. Deepika Vashisht, on yearly contract basis. Thus with less efforts, more profits came to society in the year 2007 and 2008.Again for getting more profits, the remaing part of the hotel was given on contract to Mr. Sachin Bassi, on contract basis, from May 2009 onwards.

Thus this hotel is having good name the area and it is considered to be the best managed hotel of  Una District in Himachal Pradesh.
